Italian fashion house Salvatore Ferragamo has appointed Guillaume Meilland as its new men’s ready-to-wear design director. Meilland was previously Lanvin’s senior designer of newswear, reports Luxury Daily, a role he assumed in 2007.
He joins two other newly appointed additions to the creative team: Paul Andrew, who was named design director of women’s footwear in September, and Fulvio Rigoni, designer director of women’s ready-to-wear.
Together, the three are filling the shoes of former Ferragamo creative director Massimiliano Giornetti, who left the brand earlier this year. Meilland will make his debut in January.
