Design events in Shanghai: Design Shanghai 2017 will pay homage to architect Zaha Hadid
Annual design exhibition Design Shanghai is set to feature a one-of-a-kind Zaha Hadid collection, as a tribute to the amazing architect.
Zaha Hadid was a well-renowned architect in the industry before her sudden death last year. The Iraqi-born British architect, who passed away in March 2016, left behind a considerable legacy of architectural achievements as well as design works. From March 8 to 11, within the framework of the international exhibition Design Shanghai, Zaha Hadid Design will present the Zaha Hadid Collection, a range of pieces that pay homage to the work of the sorely missed architect, as well as pieces created in collaboration with other design studios under the Zaha Hadid Edition label.
London-based firm Zaha Hadid Architects will continue to carry on the 36 unfinished projects in 21 different countries after her death. With her legacy living on, the firm promises to continue her inspirational projects all over the world.
