Hollywood star Nicolas Cage has been forced to take his Bel Air mansion off the market after buyers just wouldn’t meet his whopping $17,5 million asking price.
The house, built in 1940, is an English-style manor on slightly more than an acre with nine bedrooms and nine bathrooms in close to 12,000 square feet.
It has a 35-seat theater, a wine cellar, a game room, a pool and a circular driveway with a fountain.
Cage purchased his Bel-Air mansion in 1998 for $7 million and in 2006 decided to put the hideaway on the market for a whopping $35 mil.
The move would have given Nic a sweet profit … if only the place had actually sold!
But, after three years on the market, the mansion remained without a buyer. Cage finally decided to take the house off the market.
