Lamborghini Aventador roadster revealed
Lamborghini has unveiled the new Aventador LP700-4 Roadster prior to its public debut in Miami followed by an auto show debut at the 2012 LA Auto Show.

Lamborghini has unveiled the Roadster version of its Aventador speedster, which generates 700hp and boasts similar performance specs as the model it is based on, but adds a removable carbon fiber roof.
Based on the Aventador coupe that was launched in 2011, this new version boasts a removable roof made of two separate parts and weighing in at less than 6kg.
The back of the car shelters a V12 6.5l engine that delivers the same type of performance as the original: the speedster can reach 0 to 100 km/h in 3 seconds (versus 2.9s for the original) and a top speed of 350 km/h. It is also the first Lamborghini supercar to integrate the Stop & Start system.
The Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 Roadster will be available in a range of colors, including the brand new Azzuro Thetis theme.
The car also sports new Dione 20”/21” rims crafted from light forged aluminum that are 10 kg (22 lb) lighter than the standard rims.
Those with deep pockets will be able to order the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 Roadster for €300,000 (US$380,500) plus tax.
