Fashion fans who can’t afford Oscar de la Renta‘s elaborate runway creations will be able to get their own fix as the label is launching a stationery collection.
The label has created a stationery set adorned in bows and other common Oscar de la Renta motifs.
The fashion house is launching note cards, invitations and place cards thanks to a deal with US luxury stationery firm Mrs. John L. Strong.
This is the latest expansion from Oscar de la Renta, with the company announcing earlier this month the launch of a childrenswear collection for Fall 2012.
The label’s expansion into stationery comes at a time when fashion houses are increasingly coming up with unexpected items to adorn with their trademark style.
A faux-crocodile-skin coffee-cup holder is available on Jimmy Choo’s website for $165, while HermĆØs uses leftover scraps to make real crocodile skin coffee-cup holders retailing for $250.
Available at Mrs. John L Strong Boutiques andĀ OscardelaRenta.comĀ for $50-125.
