New Clash de Cartier Launch features Onyx and Tahitian Pearls
In continuing the spirit of innovation, Cartier has added two new materials, onyx and Tahitian pearls, to its Clash de Cartier collection.
French jeweller Cartier has added to its popular Clash de Cartier line, unveiling a collection that features black onyx beads and Tahitian pearls. The new collection is designed to symbolise a “clash of attitudes”.
Taking the centre stage are Tahitian pearls in XXL size line the rings, bracelets and earrings. Providing a contrast to the white gold, the monochromatic hues offer the wearer the versatility to pair the day’s outfit with it.

Clash de Cartier also offers the ever-popular rose gold edition, but it’s amped up with onyx beads. These smooth black gemstones are placed on the inside loop of the rings, bracelets, hoop earrings, and pendants.
First released in 2019, the Clash de Cartier represents the Maison’s effort to popularise studs, beads and clous carrés into the mainstream jewellery market. The amalgamation of tradition with eccentricity has made this series a highly popular accessory choice for red carpet events and worn by celebrities including Hollywood actress Natalie Portman.

On the watchmaking side of things, Cartier added two new references to its Santos de Cartier lineup in 2020: one model in a fully steel ADLC case and the other with a steel case combined with an ADLC bezel. The watches come matched with a black rubber strap and black alligator strap or full steel bracelet and black rubber strap.
