89th Academy Awards: Five best accessories from Bulgari to Tiffany & Co. on the Oscars 2017 red carpet
The red carpet may have been taken apart and the stars are getting back to working on their projects that may be a part of the 90th Academy Awards but our work is far from over
The 89th Academy Awards brought not only the brightest stars of Hollywood to the Kodak theatre but also lots of drama and the latest threads from the finest fashion houses. While we have sussed out the best-dressed ladies of the night, it was about time that we took a closer look at the stars to find out some of the best accessories from Tiffany & Co., Chopard and Bulgari that caught our eye.
Jessica Biel X Tiffany & Co.
First on our list is Jessica Biel who set the cameras flashing with her gold gown and Tiffany & Co. necklace. Dubbed “Whispers of the Rain Forest”, the necklace by the iconic luxury brand was as edgy as her dress and we loved it. The diamond, platinum and 18 karat gold creation comes straight out of their 2017 Blue Book Collection.
Alicia Vikander X Bulgari
Keeping it sweet and simple, is the Academy Award winner who posed on the red carpet in a creation by Louis Vuitton. The diamond necklace that contrasted her black gown, was straight from Bulgari’s “Diva’s Dream” High Jewellery collection.
Emma Stone X Tiffany & Co.
Also rocking a Tiffany & Co. creation, straight from the brand’s 2017 Blue Book Collection, was this year’s Best Actress winner. Complementing her gold Givenchy Haute Couture gown were a pair of platinum and 18 karat gold earrings named “Whispers of the Rain Forest”
Charlize Theron X Chopard
The talented actress rarely makes it to the worst dressed list during awards season and we can see why. Her accessories for the evening surprised many — few could take their eyes off her earrings that were from the brand’s “Garden of Kalahari Collection” and who could blame them! The statement earrings by Chopard featured 25 and 26 carat pear-shaped D-flawless diamonds that were joined by 4.55 carats of pear-shaped diamonds and 4.35-carats of brilliant-cut diamonds that were set in 18-karat white ‘Fairmined’ gold.
Naomi Harris X Bulgari
The final name in our list is Naomi Harris who was a contender for the title of Best Supporting Actress this year. Joining her Calvin Klein creation that broke away from the traditional floor-sweeping gowns, were a pair of High Jewellery diamond earrings. While she didn’t snag the award (it went to Viola Davis for her role in Fences), she certainly had an exceptional award season this year on the red carpet.
