Introducing Dominic Chambrone, self-proclaimed “Shoe Surgeon”

He might be self proclaimed but it is plain to see from the amount of shoe swag on his instagram that Chambrone has quite the talent and skill with a scalpel. The Shoe Surgeon carefully dissects his commissioned sneakers and then in a bout of inspiration, embarks on some crazy luxury bespoke make-over, turning a regular pair of sneakers into some of the coolest bespoke sneakers you could ever own.

His work as Shoe Surgeon is painstaking, deconstructing every element of the sneaker and then remaking them with the finest materials and details – the result? Super luxurious bespoke sneakers unlike anything youve ever seen.

The genesis of the Shoe Surgeon can be traced back to 1985 when he borrowed a cousin’s pair of Jordan 1s to wear. Though they were the coolest sneakers in the 80s, the ubiquity of Nike Jordan 1s meant that soon pretty much were wearing the same Jordans. Chambrone then picked up an airbrush and turn his own white Air Force mids into camo-treated bespoke sneakers. The rest, they say is history.
