Iconic British designer Vivienne Westwood will soon follow in the footsteps of Gucci, Vetements, Rag & Bone and Public School by combining both her womenā€™s and menā€™s collections under the Vivienne Westwood mainline label come fall 2017.

Westwood ā€“ known for her unorthodox gender-bending approach to fashion ā€“ will merge the ā€œRed Labelā€ womenswear collection and the ā€œMan Labelā€ menswear line in a bid to streamline and clarify its branding in the industry. She will also not stage a show for her Spring 2017 womenā€™s collection in September, and will instead showcase it to press and buyers via public appointments and lookbooks. ā€œOur whole structure will be directed by quality. Reduce our company in size, reduce it to its essentials. Buy less, choose well, make it last,ā€ Westwood said in a release.

This isnā€™t Westwoodā€™s first attempt at refining her companyā€™s structure. Her main unisex runway collection was renamed ā€œAndreas Kronthaler for Vivienne Westwoodā€ from the less inspiring ā€œGold Labelā€, in recognition of the partnership between herself and longtime design collaborator and husband.
