Italian fashion label Versace is featuring Gigi Hadid in its Spring/ Summer 2016 campaign visuals. So, it is not that we have soft spot for Hadid, just a symptom of an overwhelming media stampede towards the latest It Girl. There are other candidates though, as we showed in this story about 2015’s usual suspects.

In this newest bit of Gigi Hadid news, Versace is the latest fashion brand to feature her, but the brand is hedging its bets by also including Raquel Zimmerman and Natasha Poly. Some sources are calling Poly and Zimmerman veterans…the horror. L’Officiel Singapore ran this news first and we are just revisiting for some additional details. In particular, we wondered why we are looking at the California salt flats and who that seemingly random guy in the background is. Well Versace and the AFP inform us that the male model here is fitness instructor and mixed martial artist Lukasz Grabowski. His appearance, while seemingly a throwaway, is actually a teaser for the men’s campaign, which also features Benjamin Benedek and Nathaniel Visser. As for the salt flats, we still have no clue what’s going on there so we’re going back to looking at the pictures and trying tell the models apart from one another.
