Summer 2024: Luxury’s Latest Seasonal Releases
Featuring Celine’s Plein Soleil collection, Rimowa x Aimé Leon Dore bags, Milieu’s womenswear showcase in Singapore and more.
“Classic” is the keyword of the fashion launches that we’re excited about this June. Fashion brands like Burberry and Rimowa are drawing upon their rich history to unveil new designs that are elegant, timeless and covetable. Burberry, for example, references its equestrian heritage in its Rocking Horse bag, which come in new colours, fabrics and patterns this season. Another sign of the bag’s modernity is the fact that, while it’s originally a woman’s bag, it can be worn by men as well. Just ask Thai actor Bright Vachirawit.
You’ll find even more of that old-meets-new vibe from this month’s fashion collaborations. Saint Laurent, for one, has taken Ray-Ban’s most iconic sunglasses from the ‘50s and given them an all-black update, while Rimowa has tapped on Aimé Leon Dore—one of the coolest fashion labels of the moment—to reimagine its luggages.
Below, discover the seasonal essentials for June 2024, featuring all the best fashion products, collections and collaborations that are launching in Singapore.

Issey Miyake And New Balance Unveil Their First Collaboration
Here’s a new reason to go on that run: you can show off your new Issey Miyake x New Balance shoes. The two brands have collaborated on their first footwear project, resulting in a minimalist take on the New Balance Minimus Trail running shoes. The new MT10O sneakers stay true to Issey Miyake’s functional design philosophy: designer Satoshi Kondo was inspired by the idea of “sensuous physicality” and “barefoot mobility”, which explains the graceful design of the shoes. The technical sneakers are crafted from mesh and leather, and feature cord laces and sturdy Vibram soles. The Issey Miyake x New Balance MT10O sneakers come in three shades: white, black, and blue green. They will launch on 14 June, exclusively at the Issey Miyake Voco Orchard store, as well as on club21.com.
Burberry Introduces New Rocking Horse Bag Styles
Fashion designer Daniel Lee has been shaking things up at Burberry, be it by staging fashion shows that remind the fashion crowd to touch grass, or by introducing must-have accessories. One such accessory: the Burberry Rocking Horse bag, which was introduced in Fall/Winter 2023. The shoulder bag references Burberry’s equestrian heritage with its rein-inspired straps and saddle-like shape. It features a unique clasp in the shape of a lowercase “b”. Also, fun fact: the bag actually rocks back and forth, like the childhood toy that it’s named after. Burberry ambassador Bright Vachirawit is a fan; the Thai actor was spotted rocking the Rocking Horse bag out on the streets of New York. He opted for the mini size, but the bag is also offered in a medium version. This season, Burberry has also unveiled new styles for the bag, some of which feature the iconic Burberry Check in different colours.
Rimowa And Aimé Leon Dore Launch Luggage Collaboration
Rimowa has teamed up with New York fashion brand Aimé Leon Dore to create limited-edition luggages for tasteful travellers. The collaboration draws upon the golden age of travel—in the early 20th century, according to Rimowa—which explains the classic, “Old Money” look to the designs. There are two suitcases in the collaboration: the Rimowa x Aimé Leon Dore Chest and the Rimowa x Aimé Leon Dore Cabin. Both come in Aimé Leon Dore’s signature deep green hue, which is contrasted by gold-plated hardware taken from a ‘60s Rimowa trunk. There are more vintage-inspired touches to be found, like the brown leather handles and the lining, which features a pattern of ancient Greek stamps. Ready to take your airport fashion to another level? Shop the Rimowa x Aime Leon Dore collection exclusively at Rimowa’s Mandarin Gallery store.
Saint Laurent Unveils Ray-Ban Sunglasses Collaboration
It turns out that Ray-Ban’s Wayfarer sunglasses can get even cooler. Saint Laurent has collaborated with the American eyewear brand to put its stylish spin on the iconic sunglasses, resulting in the Ultra Black Wayfarer. As its name suggests, the pair comes in black and sports dark details like black metal rivets and hinges. The sunglasses come fitted with dark green G15 lens, and you’ll also spot the Saint Laurent logo along the temple. They’re also very exclusive: only 1,750 pairs of the Ultra Black Wayfarer are available. You can shop the shades at Saint Laurent’s Rive Droite store in Los Angeles, as well as at the fashion brand’s Babylone store in Paris.
