Anthony Vaccarello, creative director at Yves Saint Laurent has curated a selection of new-style collector’s items for Colette before it ceased operation in December.
It might come as a heartbreaking news for Colette as it has announced its store closure, after 20 years in business, but it might be a good news for shoppers who are fans of the French luxury label, Saint Laurent as the brand has curated a selection of collectible items for Colette ahead of the store’s closure on December 20. The collector’s objects might very well strike a chord with fashionistas.
The world of Saint Laurent fashion favorites and a selection of new-style collector’s items created by Anthony Vaccarello, creative director of the French fashion house have been unveiled in store on Nov 27 through to Dec 20.

Also available, are the customised vintage Polaroid SX-70, a calendar and exclusive makeup palettes, Pierre Marcolini chocolates and desserts, a vinyl compilation and Baccarat crystal goods.
Just before Colette announced its store closure in December, Colette has invited Saint Laurent as the next occupant on the first floor before it bid farewell to the iconic concept store located on the legendary rue Saint-Honoré – an address identical with the store for the past twenty years.
Founded by Colette Rousseaux, Colette has helped to shape the global fashion house since 1997 in that famous street and the fashion label is known as one of the most influential Parisian boutiques for carrying French high fashion accessories and streetwear.
The iconic 213 rue Saint-Honoré concept store was previously occupied by a host of luxury labels such as Balenciaga, Thom Browne and, more recently, Chanel. Saint Laurent is the latest fashion house invited to take over the premises.
With the new luxury boutique at helm, keep a look out also for the motorcycle helmets by Ruby, including the stunning Vespa, which is the centrepiece in the store that has gone through an all-black makeover by Saint Laurent for Colette.
The luxury items are now on sale exclusively in store.
