Online luxury fashion retailer Moda Operandi is working with Burberry to launch a new e-commerce concept, reports Women’s Wear Daily.
Burberry will put its wares on the Moda Operandi site for the first time, where its latest runway show will be available for pre-order in its entirety.
Dolce & Gabbana will join the site on October 7, with Oscar de la Renta coming on board on October 19. All sales will be available for a limited time only, approximately 10 days.
The flagship concept will put the latest runway looks in the spotlight, which often get put beside contemporary looks and accessories in online sales.
Moda Operandi says the average order for the site’s online trunk shows comes in around $2,300, while the number goes up to $7,800 during runway shows in London, Paris and New York.
