Louis Vuitton Doubles It’s Artistic Value in a Capsule Collection With Urs Fischer
In his latest collaboration with Louis Vuitton, Urs Fischer presents a monogram capsule collection which includes handbags, shoes and ready-to-wear items.
From hanging produce on the classic Capucines bag, in a one-off “suspended sculptures” collaboration with Louis Vuitton, Urs Fischer, known for his monumental sculptures, is a visionary contemporary artist of Swiss origin. Revered for his innovative sculptures of life-size figures, which appear to be made from melting candle wax, Urs Fischer appears to be making a name in an industry not far from his own, in fashion.
Louis Vuitton Doubles It’s Artistic Value in a Capsule Collection With Urs Fischer
In his latest collaboration with the French fashion house, Louis Vuitton Malletier, Urs Fischer presents a monogram capsule collection which includes handbags, shoes and ready-to-wear items. Featuring the iconic monogram pattern, made available in two colorways, black and white and red and black, the collection encompasses a variety of signature handbags including the Neverfull, Keepall, Speedy Bandoulière, Onthego, Cabas and Pochette Accesoires.
Through utilizing a tuffetage technique, which presents an embossed velvet design on each leather bag, the all-new capsule collection offers a dream-like design with 3D LV emblems which appear to float and move before the eyes. Complete with the 21st century’s most essential accessory, the Maison’s latest Low Top and High Top Cotton Canvas Sneakers will also sport the same eye-catching prints, whilst logomania fans can find the prints plastered onto Nylon Parkas and Puffer Jackets in the two Monograms, and the Black Double Face Wool Parka is said to appeal to the more subtle individual with intricate patterns and detailing visible on the inner workings of the jacket.
Set to hit all Louis Vuitton stores worldwide from 1st January 2021, the Louis Vuitton x Urs Fischer is expected to launch with a variety of in-store and digital experiences through innovative, high-tech displays, and magnifying sculptures.
