Veteran British supermodel Kate Moss has scored a Spring-Summer 2013 coup, appearing in adverts for Parisian label Givenchy.
With her hair down around her shoulders, and her eyes covered with large metallic clip-on sunglasses, Kate Moss wears clothes from Riccardo Tisci’s Spring-Summer 2013 prêt-à-porter collection for Givenchy in new images released by the brand.
While Kate shows off the brand’s new ruffled look, the menswear is worn by Spanish matador Jose Maria Manzanares and NYC-based artist Jared Buckhiester, famed for his grotesque yet understated pencil drawings and black-and-white photography.
The shoot, produced and shot by Mert & Marcus and Riccardo Tisco was styled by ex-Vogue Paris editor Carine Roitfeld and superstylist Katy England.
Tisci, Givenchy’s energetic creative director, explained the ideas behind the campaign in a statement: “They are people I love and who love me. It’s about family. Something that is difficult to find in today’s world. It’s about real people, only taking the best of their personalities, with no effort.”
Keeping up the family spirit, Italian model Mariacarla Boscono also features in the shoot with her four-month-old daughter, Marialucas.
Showing no sign of slowing down, 38-year-old Moss has recently appeared in new campaigns for shoe designer Stuart Weitzman and Versace.
Givenchy has also released a ‘making-of’ video exploring the shoot available on their YouTube channel at http://youtu.be/CCnQ5GHcaSo.
