A cryptic image released by Stefano Gabbana on Instagram has set speculation going that the Italian label could be releasing an alcohol-free children’s scent.

One half of the all-conquering Italian design duo might have let the cat out of the bag regarding the company’s latest fragrance ideas, all with a sweet little tweet.
“❤❤❤per I bambini!!!” (for children!) said Gabbana as he posted a picture of a new packaging design embossed with a putto (a Classical or Rennaissance cherub, for those left wondering) and the brand’s distinctive Dolce & Gabbana logo.
The most interesting aspect is what is written below — ‘Eau sans alcool / Alcohol-free scented water’ — suggesting that this will certainly be a product safe for use on children’s more delicate skin.
There has been no official comment from Dolce & Gabbana, but curiously the brand did tweet a link to an article bySwide (Dolce & Gabbana’s online luxury magazine) that had initially picked up Stefano’s tweet:
“@Swide: Stefano Gabbana unveils a Baby #fragrance! Check it out: http://bit.ly/VR5XeF – pic.twitter.com/faiEee7i”
So perhaps it wasn’t such a secret after all? In any case, this promises to be an interesting new development. The brand’s current fragrance range is already six-strong and commercially very popular. The line-up includes Pour Femme, Pour Homme, The One, Sport, Light Blue, and Sicily.
