Atelier Adamo prides itself on working with the world’s best craftsmen and artisans. Its atelier stands for the highest quality of crafting using the finest materials sourced from all over the world, but with the hand labour of Italian artisans.

The brand has just launched the first product in its catalogue, a very limited production of handmade sneakers. Each pair of low-top sneakers is only ever touched by one set of hands; its shoemaker has over 15 years of experience in the industry and trained in Paris with a company that has over 125 years of shoemaking history. It takes over 120 hours of hand labour to produce a single pair of sneakers, which means production is very limited, and only 200 sneakers are made a year. These 200 sneakers will comprise four distinct colourways, meaning there will be only 50 pairs a year of each colour. This makes it the most exclusive ready-to-wear handmade sneaker in production.

Every component of the shoe, from the calfskin leather to the soles, tips and laces, is sourced from Italy, except for the Nile crocodile leather, which comes from Africa. Our exotic leathers are all ethically sourced, and each skin is tagged and goes through a rigorous inspection for importation and exportation, thereby eliminating any doubt that the skins were poached or unethically sourced. Each skin is hand-selected, ensuring there are no flaws or imperfections. Thereafter, all components are cut, glued, stitched, hammered and edge-stained by hand.

The collection will consist of three classic colours and one limited edition.

Classic Range:

• Black Nile crocodile leather, black Italian suede, black waxed laces with gold tips, gold aglet and white soles
• Green Nile crocodile leather, white Italian calfskin leather, white waxed laces with gold tips, gold aglets and white soles
• Cognac Nile crocodile leather, cognac Italian suede, white waxed laces with gold tips, gold aglets and white soles. This style will be released in autumn

Limited Edition | The Riviera

• Riviera blue crocodile leather, white Italian calfskin leather, white waxed laces with gold tips, gold aglets and white soles. We will only make 50 pairs of the Riviera, and this colourway will never be repeated again

At least once a year, a new limited edition colourway will be released, some of which will be in collaboration with luxury brands from within the watch, car or fashion industry, to mention a few.

Later this year, Atelier Adamo will launch other product ranges, which include niche perfumery and reworked, bespoke vintage military shirts. The custom vintage military shirts are reworked using exotic leathers, and all buttons, chains and pendants are handcrafted in gold and silver by our goldsmith. Then our in-house artist paints artwork onto the shirts, making them a one-of-a-kind piece. At the time of launch, the first three niche perfumes will be part of the Roman Collection, which has been created in collaboration with a master perfumer who has produced fragrances for Penhaligons, Clive Christian, Jo Malone and Fragrance du Bois, amongst others. Atelier Adamo’s perfume range will expand over time with new collections and different master perfumers.
