When it comes to designing some of Kuala Lumpur’s most striking condominiums, Archimatrix is no stranger to this space. Headquartered in Kuala Lumpur, the firm is renowned not just in their home base but also in Southeast Asia and internationally. The past works include Cloudtree Residence, Cristal Serin Residence, SK One Residence, Laman Villa, to name a few. One of its latest architectural achievement is designing the luxury residence in Kuala Lumpur – Setia Sky Seputeh.

The firm, founded in 2000, is led by its two directors, Jasper Mah and Francis Chew. In 2008, the firm was incorporated, and it comprised a medium-sized team of younger architects. While their style is never limited to a specific architectural style, they’re known for their keen sense of understanding client’s requests and briefs that are in tandem to the project’s requirements. Having an acute awareness of property market cycles, market positions, new building technologies, changing architectural trends, going into the specifics of the terrain of the project, and so on, helps the firm stay abreast. They believe that understanding design philosophies and methodologies can help them focus on the optimisation of resources, time and spatial elements.

Sinuous and sleek balconies belonging to Setia Sky Seputeh

When it came to designing Setia Sky Seputeh, Archimatrix had to understand the lay of the land. The property sits on 4.8 acres of prime Teman Seputeh land. S P Setia Berhad clearly left it in the deft hands of the firm to create an alluring enclave of modern residential homes. The project currently offers some 290 freehold units, where an undulating balcony design looks out to the sylvan, manicured gardens below. The project offers four to six units per floor and each unit can range from 2,300 to 3,000 square feet of space with a  private lift lobby. This sort of configuration promises exclusivity and privacy at all times. The two-block project sits beside verdant hills, so your eyes are pampered with enviable lush, serene landscapes.

Some plush units have balconies that wrap the living rooms

The property will also offer Beach Podium, rooftop Sky Lounge with gourmet kitchen, trampoline garden, private cabanas and lounge areas for families and couples to bond. This arresting development is a nod to Archimatrix’s creative solution for modern-day living, buoyed by sound architectural design that allows individuals to inhabit a space purposefully; with nooks of meaningful community spaces, too.
