Tallest residential building: Princess Tower
Completed in 2012, the Princess Tower stands 413 m high (1,356 ft) and has 101 storeys.
Largest shopping center: Dubai Mall
What does it take to be the largest shopping mall in the world? 4 levels, 548,127 mĀ² (5.9 million ftĀ²), 1,200 stores, and more than 160 food and beverage outlets. The mall also includes an aquarium, Olympic size ice rink and a 22-screen cinema complex.
Largest indoor ski resort: Ski Dubai
In the middle of the Arabian desert, you’ll find the largest indoor ski resort in the world with a total area of 22,500 mĀ² (242,187 ftĀ²) covered with up to 6,000 tonnes (13 million lb) of real snow all year around.
Tallest man-made structure on land: Burj Khalifa
At 828 m (2,716.5 ft), the Burj Khalifa is an architectural feat with more than 160 floors. Other records include the elevator with the longest travel distance in the world and the highest occupied floor.

The JW Marriott Marquis Hotel Dubai, UAE, formerly known as Emirates Park Towers Hotel & Spa, is the tallest hotel in the world, standing at 355.35 m. At 77 storeys, tower 1 has 806 rooms.
