A Central Park West co-op has hit the market for $42 million. The owners bought the apartment for just $12.2 million in 2003.
The 7,000-square-foot co-op is located on the ninth floor of 101 Central Park West, an 18-story prewar building according to the WSJ.
The unit has 100 feet of frontage overlooking Central Park across the combined living, dining and library areas. There are five bedrooms, not including a maid’s room, five bathrooms and two powder rooms.
The owners completed a three-year renovation of the space about eight years ago, which modernized the layout and finishes and added smart home features. There are exposures on all four sides and nonreflective windows to prevent glare.
According to PGL, Randall Gianopulos and Serena Boardman of Sotheby’s International Realty have the listing and would not identify the owners.
