According to the Hotels.com Hotel Price Index, a one-night stay at a five-star hotel in Warsaw cost $130 USD in the first half of 2014.
That compares to $538 for a five-star stay in Boston — or the equivalent of four nights in the Polish capital.

The 10 most affordable luxury hotel destinations were found in Europe and Asia, with one-night stays averaging $210 or less.Ā Rounding out the top five spots on the index are Pisa, Italy, Cairo, Mumbai and Delhi.
At the other end of the spectrum, travelers paid the most for five-star hotels in Tokyo, Rio de Janeiro and Boston.

“We’ve identified some very popular destinations where you can find five-star hotels at a fraction of the cost of other larger cities” said Hotels.com.
“For example, explorers can visit world-renowned sites like the amazing pyramids of Egypt, the Great Wall of China, the shops of the Grand Bazaar in Istanbul, or the famous Leaning Tower of Pisa all while enjoying plush accommodations for an affordable price.”
