Following its 25th anniversary last year, Marriott Hotels & Resorts has unveiled the newly renovated New York Marriott Marquis in Times Square.
A focus of the major upgrade is the brand’s reinvented lobby, including two signature restaurants and lounges.
The makeover includes the hotel’s nearly 2,000 guest rooms and a brand-new, high-tech ballroom and will cost approximately $39 million.
The renovated New York Marriott Marquis will offer guest rooms featuring custom furnishings with clean, crisp lines that enhance and accentuate the space of the room, dressed in neutral colors of cocoa-brown, cream and champagne.
The glamorous Broadway Ballroom seats up to 2,400, with programmable chandeliers that offer thousands of choices, with color-changing LED technology.
Overhaul of over 1,000 guest rooms has already been completed with the rest slated to be completed by early 2012.
