The power couple wed for the second time at this whimsical, romantic location in Provence.
Château de Tourreau is the Next Wedding Inspiration
One wedding isn’t enough for Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner. Though the couple has already exchanged their vows in Las Vegas in spring this year, another wedding ceremony wouldn’t hurt. This time, the location chosen to celebrate their love was in Provence, the couple was joined by close friends and family such as Priyanka Chopra and Maisie Williams. The reception was held at the elegant Château de Tourreau, located on the outskirts of the town of Sarrians, in a spectacular 18th-century mansion with luxurious amenities.
The seventeen-acre building is adorned with furniture and Provençal art, huge mirrors, gold-plated chandeliers and lovely French doors that open up to a charming courtyard garden. It also includes a swimming pool and a chapel – perfect for the newlyweds.
Guests can expect plenty of modern amenities, despite the mansion itself dating back to centuries ago. There is a heliport, a cinema and tennis courts, basketball, volleyball and squash. The entire residence can accommodate up to 14 guests. If that’s not enough, there’s a nearby 5-bedroom farmhouse for additional guests.
When it comes to dining, guests are able to make special arrangements for a personal chef to cater to your meals, along with a butler and maid service. The grounds also boast an orchard and vegetable garden for fresh produce and are incorporated into the menus for guests.
The mansion is not only available for stars such as Turner and Jonas:, Château de Torreau is one of the properties available on Airbnb for the price of $ 7,400 per night. “Once the gates have closed, you find yourselves in a world of your own, a world of legend and history, as if you were in an ancient royal palace of which you were the new privileged king,” according to the Airbnb descriptions.
