Bruce Willis’ Potentially Record-Breaking Parrot Cay Estate
At an asking price of $33 million, the estate far exceeds the exclusive island’s current record of $27.5 million for a 6.5-acre home down the beach
As far as the year 2019 goes, Actor Bruce Willis and his wife Emma Heming seem to be shredding old skin in terms of housing. Earlier in January, the couple listed their sprawling 22.6-acre mansion in New York for $13 million (currently priced at $9.5 million). And now, they are too placing their Caribbean-style abode on the market, with an asking price of a whopping $33 million.
Unlike their property in Bedford Corners, New York, this Caribbean estate only spans 8 acres, less half in size of their New York mansion. The catch to justify its hefty price tag is its private location. Nestled on the pristine beachfront of Turks and Caicos, the Parrot Cay estate is one luxury home, made for one of America’s biggest action stars like Bruce Willis and celebrities alike. The sunset-facing compound is hidden away among lush vegetation and along a scenic mile-long beach. A trip to this little paradise would require about two hours flight from Miami and a 30-minute boat ride, which makes the Parrot Cay estate extremely paparazzi-proof.
Bruce Willis’ Caribbean-themed Private Estate
His two-level residence comes with three homes – one main house and two separates – totalling 35,000 square feet of living space while an additional 17,000 square feet space extends out of the terrace, featuring four pools, a yoga pavilion and a playground with a full-size wooden pirate ship.
Inside the main house, design is kept spacious and modern. The living room opens out to a dining area on the deck. The rest of the house amenities also includes five bedrooms, indoor home theatre and tennis court. As with other Parrot Cay estates, the property also includes estate management, house keeping, chef and butler services.
Unless you have $33 million to spare, this estate also has a three-bedroom guest villa that is available for rent under COMO Parrot Cay. The rates for each night range from $795 to $1,500. However, if this listing were to sell at its asking price, it would set the highest record for estate sold on the island. The current record holder is a home that was sold for $27.5 million in 2016.
