Thailand Charter Week to run November 16-19
The Thai Yachting Business Association has announced the dates and format of the second Thailand Charter Week, which will be held at Phuket Yacht Haven.
The Thai Yachting Business Association (TYBA) has announced that the second edition of the Thailand Charter Week will be held from November 16-19, kicking off the country’s ‘high season’ for yachting and tourism. TYBA expects the event to be bigger than the inaugural edition in November 2019, which featured 21 yachts.
The host venue will once again be Phuket Yacht Haven Marina on the island’s northeast coast, offering fully serviced berths for up to 320 vessels, a swimming pool, gym and restaurants.
Asia’s premier charter industry event, the Thailand Charter Week provides a B2B platform for luxury charter yacht brokers and agents to inspect quality charter yachts, experience Phuket’s famed hospitality, and network with yachting and tourism industry professionals.

Participants will be able to enjoy a programme of destination presentations, activities, sustainable yachting information and local entertainment including social events on three of the evenings.
As of late August, well over 20 yachts including motor, sailing, monohulls and catamarans, had tentatively confirmed attendance, with 13 yachts measuring 20m or more.
On Wednesday, November 16, the event will start with an opening party at Yacht Haven from 5pm, with drinks, canapes and local entertainment. On November 17-18 (10am-6pm), participating yachts will be on display at Yacht Haven for inspections, with Thursday 6pm cocktails at Yacht Haven’s The Deck and a Friday closing party at The PlayYard, near Yacht Haven. On Saturday, November 19 (10am-5pm), yachts will take a tour of nearby Phang Nga Bay.
Yacht Style and parent company Lux Inc Media are media partners of the Thailand Charter Week for a second time. More event details will be added to the TYBA website as they become available.
