Sunseeker has officially unveiled its ‘Famous Five’ new models in an online premiere hosted by Downton Abbey star Hugh Bonneville and broadcast on the British builder’s Facebook and YouTube channels.

The Manhattan 55 was Yacht Style Issue 58’s cover star and subject of a six-page, while the Predator 55 EVO made its show debut at the Palm Beach International Boat Show (March 25-28) and was part of an earlier joint online premiere with the Manhattan 55.

However, the recent ‘Famous Five’ premiere was the first time all five models had been shown together, with Bonneville narrating a video highlighting each yacht’s special features.

Andrea Frabetti, CEO at Sunseeker International, said: “It was a great privilege to welcome Hugh back to Poole to help launch all five new models, each imbued with Sunseeker style and innovation.

“This is the culmination of a great deal of hard work, talent and passion by the entire workforce; the credit rests with each and every one of them. This launch is a truly momentous occasion, and I cannot wait to welcome even more clients to our burgeoning ‘family’ as our range continues to expand.”

The 65 Sport Yacht is distinguished by its optional SkyHelm, which features twin bolstered seats set very low on either side of a central console and which can pivot aft for socialising. There’s also a fully-carbon steering arm that the driver can raise to ease ingress into this racing-cockpit design or can be locked in a raised position for helming while standing. The windscreen can also tilt up and down depending on the driver’s preference and desire to be connected to the elements.

The 88 Yacht and 90 Ocean are both part of the builder’s Yacht range of larger flybridge motor yachts and both feature Sunseeker’s X-Tend sunbed that can either fold down and face aft in the beach club or be raised and face forward at cockpit level.

The 88 Yacht’s new features include a galley positioned forward by the helm to increase space for the living and dining areas, while the lower deck features accommodation for eight guests and four crew.

The 90 Ocean is a revolutionary new design from Sunseeker, with a 7.16m beam and a stem bow contributing to what Sunseeker describes as a 20 per cent increase in overall volume and 25-30 per cent more deck space. The yacht also features a flybridge that the yard describes as 25 per cent larger than a comparable yacht, as well as fixed 6m by 4m swim platform that doubles as a beach club.
