Sleek New Leopard 46 Turns Heads at Cannes
South Africa’s Leopard Catamarans has unveiled its latest marvel, the Leopard 46, at the Cannes Yachting Festival.
With its blend of innovation, luxury, and eco-consciousness, the Leopard 46 looks to be setting a new standard in sailing catamarans.
This cutting-edge yacht boasts an array of impressive features, with sustainability at its core. The optional hybrid electric drive offers eco-conscious sailors an efficient cruising experience, and integrated solar panels significantly boost autonomy and reduce generator reliance.
The 14.12m (46ft 32in) cat’s sleek exterior design of this sailing multihull was inspired by the manufacturer’s powercat heritage, and distinctive wraparound coachroof windows invite expansive light and scenic views. The Leopard 46’s versatile interior layout caters to various needs, offering three to five-cabin configurations. A companionway sliding door integrates the aft cockpit and interior saloon to provide a luxuriously spacious environment for onboard living and entertaining.
Performance enthusiasts will appreciate the taller mast and optional performance sail package, while an optional lifting tender platform adds convenience for water sports aficionados.
Whilst the Leopard 46 marked its premiere in Cannes, sailing enthusiasts can look forward to its worldwide debut at the United States Sailboat Show in Annapolis this October. The yacht will also grace the International Multihull Show in France in April 2025.
