Asia’s largest yacht dealership was recently appointed to represent the British builder across 10 countries and territories in Greater China and Southeast Asia.

Simpson Marine had represented Fairline Yachts in Hong Kong and the Philippines since June 2018, but its scope has been increased to cover both existing territories, as well as Taiwan and seven Southeast Asian nations – Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Cambodia and Myanmar.

Dennis de Roos, Fairline’s Commercial Director, said: “Simpson Marine is a fantastic partner for Fairline in Asia, holding company values that are perfectly aligned with our own. Our work with Simpson Marine enables us to move forward with our aim of increasing visibility of the brand across the region.”

The Squadron 68 and F//Line 33 were unveiled at the Cannes Yachting Festival last September, the same month the Squadron 50 was showcased at the Southampton International Boat Show.

The models were all designed by Alberto Mancini, the Italian responsible for the latest models in all three Fairline ranges: Squadron (50-68ft), Targa (45-65ft) and F//Line (33ft). Upcoming models include the Targa 45 GT, to premiere at Boot Dusseldorf (January 18-26), and the Targa 58GTB, which features a remarkable beach club and will debut at Cannes (September 8-13).

David Walder, Fairline Sales Manager at Simpson Marine, said: “The Simpson Marine team is extremely enthusiastic about the performance levels of all the Fairlines we tested in the past year.

“Extending Simpson Marine’s representation of Fairline Yachts within North and Southeast Asia makes perfect sense and is a natural progression for us as a regional company. We already have enquiries coming in from across the region and are looking forward to a new chapter for the brand here in Asia.”

Richard Allen, Simpson Marine’s Group General Manager, added: “Fairline is one of the most prestigious motor yacht brands in the world and we have witnessed significant interest in this latest addition to our portfolio. We can’t wait to further expand with Fairline in Asia, with dedicated launches being scheduled around the region and a strong display planned at the Singapore Yacht Show.”

Simpson Marine has also announced the addition of Bluegame to its portfolio, representing the Italian motor yacht builder across Asia from January.

As well as Fairline and Bluegame, Simpson Marine is also a distributor for Sanlorenzo motor yachts across Asia, as well as Monte Carlo Yachts motor yachts, Beneteau sailboats, Lagoon catamarans and Aquila power catamarans in selected markets.
