Princess Y95 Set for Thailand Show

The new Princess superyacht could be the largest model at January’s Thailand International Boat Show.

The Thailand premiere of the Princess Y95 is set to be among the highlights of the second Thailand International Boat Show, which will be held at Royal Phuket Marina from January 11-14. Based on the hull of the British builder’s flagship X95, the Y95 is the largest model in the Y series of large flybridge motor yachts and recently had its Asia premiere in Singapore.

The yacht is being displayed by Boat Lagoon Yachting, the Southeast Asia dealer for Princess since 1994, which will also show a Princess F62 and F55 from the flybridge range, a Jeanneau Cap Camarat 10.5 CC and a Ferretti Yachts 850.

Ferretti Yachts 780

V Yachts Asia, Ferretti Group’s Thailand dealer, will show a Ferretti Yachts 780, Ferretti Yachts 500 and a Riva 76’ Perseo Super. Lee Marine will display Riviera’s flagship 78MY and a Riviera 4600 SY sport yacht, Asia Yachting will display Prestige 590 and Prestige 420 flybridge motor yachts, while Leopard will show a Leopard 45 sailing catamaran and a Leopard 46 Powercat.

Derani Yachts is set to exhibit three Axopar models (22, 37, 45), a Brabus Shadow 500 Cabin and a Greenline 40. Sub-40ft models include a Premier 38 (Northrop & Johnson Asia), Gulf Craft Silvercraft 36 (Go Boating), Al Dhaen 365 Centre Console (Extreme Marine) and a Zodiac Open 7 RIB (Asia Yacht Agency).

Leopard 46 Powercat

As revealed in an earlier preview, Simpson Marine will be displaying a Sanlorenzo SX76, Lagoon 51, Beneteau Swift Trawler 48, Fairline Targa 45 GT, Aquila 36 and Beneteau Flyer 8 SunDeck, while a Dufour 61Fountaine Pajot Alegria 67 and a Monte Carlo Yachts MCY 70 will be exhibited by The Yacht Sales Co and Multihull Solutions.

“The 2024 Thailand International Boat Show includes an expanded in-water display with many of the top brokers in the region showcasing leading boat brands from around the world,” said David Hayes, CEO of show organiser JAND Events.

A wide range of marine businesses and products, and services from the luxury lifestyle sector will exhibit onshore. A new purpose-built, air-conditioned exhibition space is set to host A. & Marine, Aqua Air Asia, ASA Group, Cholamark Boat, Flexiteek, FLS Yachts, Hull Co. Ltd, Marine Services Asia, Nava by Thaicom, Nespresso, Octopus Electrical Service, Royal Phuket Marina, SEA Yacht Sales, Siam Legal (Thailand) and Thailand Privilege.

Meanwhile, the boardwalk will host the likes of AMI Marine International, Aoy’s Hoy Oyster Bar, Disabled Sailing Thailand, Entropy Solar, Hilda Loe Associates, SEABOB, Torqeedo Asia Pacific, UWC International School.

Private jet companies Cessna & Beechcraft by Textron Aviation, the VIP Lounge Presenting Sponsor, and Chapman Freeborn, will participate in the show for the first time. The four-day event will be preceded on January 10 by the Thailand Yachting Conference, which will be held at the White House in the nearby NH Boat Lagoon Phuket Resort.
