The name Perini Navi conjures up the world’s most elegant sailing yachts, headed by the incomparable Maltese Falcon.

However the company is now getting into the the motor yacht business in a big way, starting with the brand new 50-metre Exuma launched under the Picchiotti marque newly formed by the Perini Navi Group.

The aluminum-hulled Exuma is the first model in the Picchiotti Vitruvius series, a collaboration between Perini Navi, Vitruvius Ltd. and architect Philippe Briand.

The streamlined ship is certainly worthy of the Perini Navi name and is built for serious expeditions with a range of 5,500 nautical miles at 12 knots.

A fully customised 16.4 ft. amphibious vehicle and a Hov Pod 12 ft. hovercraft are housed inside the two garages with gull-wing doors, along with two tenders, two electric land scooters, two Seabobs and a Sea-Doo RXT jet ski.

Interior furnishings for the entertaining spaces and accommodations for 10 were designed by Perini Navi’s in-house team with a focus on classic maritime style tradition, using oak, teak and Italian marble.
