The inaugural edition of Penang Rendezvous 2018 happened from 26th to 29th July 2018, has proven to be a successful first event in the state, with many more future editions to come. Over 3,000 visitors from all around the Southeast Asia region graced the event, including the Minister of Tourism in attendance.

Penang Rendezvous 2018 Sets a High Bar for Many Ahead

The extravagant event featured many firsts within itself in the Rendezvous Rendition – Penang Rendezvous 2018 saw, for the first time, all major yacht dealers, including Simpson Marine, Pen Marine, Hong She and many others in Malaysia exhibiting in one show altogether. It was also the first time having the VIP dinner hosted by Martell HOME in Penang, having guests discover the spirits of curiously during the cocktail and gastronomic experience.

Strongly backed by both local and international partners and sponsors, extensive number of yachts, cars and real estate were able to put on an exclusive display for guests and visitors to view. Throughout the 4-day exhibition, over 18 sea trials were organized, inviting esteemed guest to party and luxuriate in style.

The ambience throughout the event was an accumulation of dynamic, elegance and vibrancy, with various form of entertainment constantly taking the stage. Acrobatic yoga, belly dance performance, DJs and saxophonist were the highlights that added to the event jauntiness.

On the second last day of Penang Rendezvous 2018 – 28 July, a total of 120 crypto savvy investors and the general public gather at The Crypto Rendezvous for a blockchain retreat.
