Ferretti Yachts
will introduce at the Festival de la Plaisance of Cannes 2009 the new Ferretti 560, which represents the “yachts (r)evolution” conceived to experience a new feeling of life on board.

Through this new model the shipyard aims to consolidate and continue the evolution process of flying bridge range under 63 feet.

This renewal in the last two years involved the launch of new yachts that became “icons” of innovation in design, like Ferretti 470, Ferretti 510 and Ferretti 592.

Ferretti 560, result of cooperation between Advanced Yacht Technology of Ferretti group and Studio Zuccon International Project, embodies all the precious elements of design tradition of the shipyard that meets a new evolution that could be identified in in three key-elements: an innovative space-design of the lower deck layout – with three cabins, including a full beam Owner suite – and three bathrooms; a very strong care for details embodied by contemporary-taste décor elements, such as bleached oak, and a new, exclusive design of windows to enhance natural light on board.

EXTERIOR

The profile of Ferretti 560, featuring a sky lounge without roll bar and a spoiler, is sleek and sporty. The new windows design makes the yacht lines light and elegant: the main deck is covered by windows that allow a 360 degree view, while the lower deck offers the wide open view windows and, in addition, two new design windows, result of the great technical ability of Studio Zuccon.

At bow is located a big window with porthole that illuminate the VIP cabin and a windows that features an oval shape with two portholes that enhances the natural light of the guest cabin and Owner bathroom.

A sofa-bench, covered by sun-cushions is located in the cockpit that features teak floor. The bench contains a wide storage that could be converted to crew cabin with bathroom, if requested by the Owner.

On the left is located a bar corner with wood surface that has also the purpose of hooking the folding table and could contain an ice-maker.

This piece of furniture, together the tilting windows is the connection between exterior and interior, creating an all-in-one open space of cockpit, galley and living area.

The stairs on the left give access to the flying bridge fitted out with bimini cover to create shade zones. Smart solutions allow to enjoy every moment of outside life: at stern there is a spacious lounge area with sofas for eight people, extendible table and grill area with fridge.

The helm position is on the right side, while at bow is located a sunpad. A further sun lounge with sunpad is at bow on the main deck .

MAIN DECK

Onboard the natural light is the dominating element, that comes inside through the windows and is enhanced by warm tones of materials and the bleached oak wood, used to realize the furniture.

On the left at stern is located the fully-equipped galley, designed for owners who love cruising their yacht by themselves.

At starboard, there is furniture with doors and a wide sofa with convertible table for six guests; on the left, further on the galley, is located a sofa and furniture with pop-up TV system. The pilothouse is in a raised position and allows an excellent visibility thanks to the large windows.

The night zone features solutions that are unequalled for this typology of yachts, such as the possibility to have three cabins, two with a double bed and one with twin beds, and three bathrooms.

This layout meets the requirements of ship-owners who love to spend time onboard with friends. The master cabin has been positioned in the centre of the yacht, covering the total width of the hull.

It has a large wardrobe, a sofa and private bathroom and is illuminated by two large open-view windows.

The Owner bathroom has a separated shower and a big window with portholes that can be opened. For the other guests on board, the Ferretti 560 offers a double cabin in the bow with bathroom, and a twin cabin with double-access bathroom.

INTERIOR DECOR

Ferretti 560 has been conceived with a contemporary design&decor taste with particular care of the details keeping a perfect balance between functionality and stylistic research of the materials to obtain a result of ultimate elegance.

The bleached oak wood enhance the brightness of the spaces featuring refined colour contrasts created by the warm tones of the details in wood or leather like ceiling covering, bed-perimeter, curtain-case or the bed-heads decorations that mix lights and materials.

ENGINES AND PERFORMANCE

Ferretti 560 mounts 2 engines MAN V8-900 that push the yacht to a cruise speed of 28 knots and maximum speed of 32 knots.
