The 3rd Rendez-V Marine event held at Porto Venere showcased 25 Azimut Yachts from the Flybridge to the Grande where over guests were treated to test drives
Over 200 guests experienced the glamour and splendour of 25 sophisticated Azimut Yachts at the recent Rendez-V Marine event held at Porto Venere. The exclusive weekend event was organised by Azimut Yachts dealer V Marine with the support of a few extraordinary partners. The decadent experience was partially supported by a gala dinner of gastronomical proportions prepared by multiple award winning Starchef Carlo Cracco but the real draw of the Porto Venere Rendez-V Marine event was the magnificent selection of Azimut Yachts and new Pirelli tenders all available for exclusive test drives.
The Grand Experience of Azimut Yachts at the Rendez-V Marine Porto Venere
Held on the weekend of July 7, 8 and 9 in the magnificent setting provided by Porto Venere near La Spezia, this was the third event organised by V Marine, Azimut Yachts’ exclusive dealer for northern and central Italy.

The Azimut Grande 95 rph
The Azimut Grande 95 yacht conceptualised by Stefano Righini and interior designed by Salvagni Architetti is modern travel on the high seas in the grand old traditions. Twin 2.200 mHP (1630 kW) MTU 16V2000 M84 engines allow for a maximum speed of 28 Knots kn with cruising at 22. In terms of accommodation, the Azimut Grande 95 yacht has cabins for 5 + 3 crew, berths for 10 + 4 crew and head compartments for 6 + 2 crew.
The Azimut 80 Flybridge
The Azimut 80 Flybridge with twin 1550 mHP (1140 kW) MAN CR V12 or available in twin 1800 mHP (1324 kW) MAN CR V12) configuration as well, enjoys State-of-the-art Naviop advanced monitoring system for displaying and controlling the main onboard systems: engine data, fuel consumption, generators, trim, interceptor, navigation lights, batteries, air conditioning.
The Azimut 80 Flybridge has been designed and engineered according to the highest standards applied in the recreational industry for production boats. With CE Class A and NMMA Certification, the boat is in compliance with the two major safety codes for boats under 24 meters.
The Azimut Magellano 76
With interior design by Alessandro Pulina, the Azimut Magellano 76 is still a relatively comfortable ride on the high seas even when compared to its larger cousins. Smooth and unslammable, the Azimut Magellano 76’s unique Dual Mode hull ensures comfortable navigation and excellent seakeeping even in moderate sea conditions. Semidisplacement hull shape with a round bilge along the centerline, broad hard chines, central skeg, and a vertical bow which tends to cleave the waves aside rather than skipping across their tops.
Twin 1000 mHp (735 kW) MAN V8 engines provide the Azimut Magellano 76 with 22 kn maximum speed and up to 15% fuel efficiency allowing Captains to “broaden their horizons”.
Highlights of the 3rd Rendez-V Marine
Joining the Azimut yachts on the waters were the latest tenders in the Pirelli collection and representation by Volvo Penta and Raymarine. On land, guests were welcomed in a series of elegant spaces, including the port promenade, which was transformed by the sophisticated, edgy furnishings provided by Talenti into a luxurious outdoor reception area, embellished with decorations by Fendi Casa, while Swiss International Air Lines fitted out an entire lounge to welcome guests.

In an exclusive arrangement, guests were given the chance to visit the Comsubin Military Base, which is usually out of bounds for civilians, to learn about the points of excellence of one of the Italian Navy’s most storied Units. The day was brought to a close by an entertaining barbecue “captained” by Chef Carlo Cracco.
Completing the experience were presentations of creations by Damiano Gioielli and Venini, with the elegant jewels by Rocca, in addition to Acqua dell’Elba fragrances, fabrics Made in Italy by APR, and carbon fiber masterpieces by Teknomonster. Finally, Isaia and F.lli Tallia di Delfino worked together to offer Rendez-V Marine guests exclusive made to measure suits.
V Marine also took advantage of the event to present the recent partnerships signed with Italian community catering leader Elior and with S.Pellegrino, which created a special bottle dedicated to the event exclusively for V Marine. This is a privilege so far reserved for brands and personalities of the calibre of Missoni, Vogue, Bulgari and Pavarotti.
