Promising the pleasure of complete control across all terrain, the fourth generation of Multistrada is more versatile than ever. Harnessing sport, travel, endure and urban capabilities, the Multistrada V4 is prided for being effective and fun in all riding conditions. Derived from the 1103cc unit used in the Panigale V4s and Streetfighter, the new Multistrada V4 shares a lot of styling cues with its L-twin siblings.

The All-New Ducati Multistrada V4 is All About Exceptional Form And Function

Characterised by specifications that perfectly balance full functionality and Italian design, in a style shaped directly by robustness, aerodynamic innovations and the pursuit of maximum comfort, the Granturismo V4 engine used in this new motorcycle has been developed just for this application and has a slightly larger displacement of 1158cc. Through eliminating Ducati’s famous Desmodromic valves, the Granturismo V4 accommodates up to 170 horsepower, 92 pound-feet of torque, and has been specially tuned to improve the riding experience at lower revs.

Equipped with an aluminium monocoque with the V4 engine acting as a stressed member, the Multistrada V4 showcases enhanced aerodynamic shapes to increase stability and comfort. Featuring a simplistic yet advanced dynamic windshield with adjustable winglets, shaped for maximum protection, this two-wheeler also incorporates a wind cooler bypass for deviating and controlling the air flow, aerodynamic split radiators positioned up front to boost efficiency, and front winglets to increase stability with vertical load whilst improving thermic comfort by deviating the radiators’ hot air away from the rider.

Available in three alternatives from January 2021, the Ducati Multistrada is categorised by V4, V4 S, and V4 S Sport – each bike comes in conjunction with an electronics package complete with ABS Cornering, Wheelie Control, and Ducati Cornering Traction Control, all controlled by the bike’s IMU, whilst selected models offer automatic levelling, optional radar-based adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, and bespoke wheel upgrades.
