On display at the 2014 Geneva Auto Show is an all-electric sports car concept by nanoFLOWCELL called QUANT e-Sportlimousine.

Apparently, the QUANT e-Sportlimousine comes with flow cells that combine electrochemical accumulator cells and fuel cells. To put it in simple words, the QUANT’s batteries are 5-times for efficient than conventional lithium-ion ones.

Measuring 5.25 metres in length, 2.20 metres in width, and 1.35 metre in height, it uses four in-wheel motors to sprint from 0-100 km/h in just 2.8 sec and reach a top speed of 380 km/h, while providing a range of 400-600 km.

That’s faster and more powerful than anything on this year’s Ferrari, Porsche, Lamborghini, McLaren or Bugatti stand.

Inside, it’s surprisingly subtle. Everything is covered in an ultrafine wooden veneer that looks like solid wood until the ignition is activated and the car’s dials and touch screens come to life behind it.

The brand has a history of building concepts that remain just that but this time it promises things are going to be different and a road-going version could be seen as early as 2015.
