Porsche is celebrating 60 Years in America, introducing “My Classic Porsche Search” a search for the oldest Porsche in the country.

The search is open to all Porsche owners who think they have a shot at earning the “oldest” designation for their car.

Entries can be submitted for 12 model ranges, including the Porsche 356, 911, 912, 914, 924, 928, 944, 968, Boxster, Cayenne, Carrera GT, and Cayman.

In addition to finding the oldest Porsches in each model range, the search will identify the oldest Porsche ever sold in the United States.

Owners who have Porsches “with papers” can enter online at Porsche60Years.com. The search ends Oct. 1.

Images of select vehicles are slated to go on display in Stuttgart during its “Sixty Years of Porsche in America” display starting October 12.

One winner will also get a chance to display his/her car at the 2012 Los Angeles International Auto Show.
