Maybach offering buyers a $100,000 rebate
Maybach, the ultra luxury car brand from Germany, has recently announced a heavy discount of $100,000 on the price of Maybach’s entire product range.
Daimler previously let slip that the company will kill the ultra-luxury brand in 2013 and replace it with a new high-end Mercedes-Benz S600 Pullman.
To sell out remaining inventory, the ultra-luxury automaker is offering rebates of up to $100,000 on the purchase of a new Maybach from dealer inventory.
whether you’re purchasing the Type 57 which ranges from $376,300 to $416,200 or the Type 62 which starts at $427,700, a $100,000 savings is quite significant.
According to a report from Forbes: “Daimler has not turned a penny profit on Maybach since 2002 when it was introduced,” hence the rebate and Daimler’s decision to axe the Maybach brand by the end of this year.
