JAGUAR has confirmed the 2016 launch its first crossover, the F-Pace, based on the XC-17 concept presented in Frankfurt in 2013.
“The Jaguar F-PACE, inspired by the F-TYPE, represents a perfectly judged balance of performance, style and practicality,” said Jaguar design director Ian Callum in a release, adding that the new crossover will be the car maker’s version of a “family sports car.”
With room for up to 5 passengers in a luxurious interior the Jaguar F-Pace is designed to offer smooth driving in all conditions and all types of terrain.
Jaguar has not revealed when it plans to officially unveil the F-Pace, but the world premiere could take place at the Geneva Motor Show in March.
