Harley-Davidson Has Once Again Changed The Way The World Moves With Serial 1 Cycles

Inspired by the entrepreneurial vision of Harley-Davidson’s founders—and the revolutionary impact of their oldest-known motorcycle, affectionately referred to as “Serial Number One”—Serial 1 Cycles was created for the sole purpose of delivering innovative eBicycles that make every ride an adventure.

Combining Harley-Davidson’s world-class product development capability with the agility of a start-up brand, Serial 1 Cycles offers premium eBicycles guided by intelligent, human-centred design and crafted using the most advanced bicycle technology available, to create the easiest and most intuitive way to experience the fun, freedom and instant adventure of riding a pedal-assist electric bicycle.

Scheduled to debut on 16 November 2020, the Serial 1 prototype shares a similar black frame, white tires, and coiled spring under the seat, as seen on its motorized predecessor. Aesthetically far from the futuristic pair of e-bicycle concepts that Harley unveiled in early 2019, the company has yet to unveil details on range, speed, price or powertrain, though from its teaser material, the bike appears to be equipped with integrated headlights and taillights, thru-axle wheel wheel hubs, Tektro dual-piston hydraulic disc brakes, and the same type of belt-drive found on the LiveWire.
