Aston Martin hasn’t revealed many new details about its baby Cygnet, which is on display at the 2010 Geneva Auto Show.

The Cygnet is a production car based on the Toyota iQ with a Vantage front end and luxury interior, to be sold for $45,000 to $75,000 to buyers who want an expensive city car.

The company said that it expects the car will go on sale in 2011, but there were no plans to sell it in the United States.

The Cygnet press release describes the vehicle as “a premium commuter car,” and says it will allow Aston customers “a greater degree of freedom without compromising the levels of design, quality and innovation that embody the brand.”
