Ferrari 458 Italia Niki Lauda Edition
Ferrari has unveiled a special one-off 458 Italia Niki Lauda Edition. This particular model is dedicated to the living legend in F1.
Ferrari has presented the “Ferrari 458 Italia Niki Lauda Edition,” a one-off version of its 458 Italia. It has been customized to resemble the race cars driven by the Austrian F1 champion during the 1970s.
This unique Ferrari 458 Italia stands out primarily for its white roof, which is painted with the colors of the Italian flag in the center, and for its gold-colored alloy wheels. The green, white and red flag is also represented on the seats and the center console.
Under the hood, the supercarĀ packs a 570hp V8 engine paired with an F1 7-speed transmission. The Ferrari 458 ItaliaĀ can reach a top speed of 325km/h and accelerates from 0 to 100km/h in 3.4s.
This one-off vehicle was commissioned by a client of the exclusive Ferrari Tailor-Made customization service, developed to meet the requests of the most demanding clients.
The presentation of this edition honoring Niki Lauda follows the release of Ron Howardās “Rush” in September. The film focused on the 1976 showdown between Lauda, defending the title of world champion behind the wheel of a Ferrari, and his challenger James Hunt, piloting a McLaren.
