Eterniti Hemera

New luxury car brand Eterniti has unveiled its first vehicle at the Frankfurt Motor Show (actually only the exterior was revealed).

The automaker revealed the Hemera September 13, promising that the world’s first ‘super-SUV’ will provide new levels of luxury, exclusivity and performance.

Eterniti says that it closely resembles the production version, with carbon composite panels disguising the car’s original roots in the VW large SUV platform.

The Hemera sits with a fairly low stance, with a height of 1,674 mm and a width of 2,112mm and features a full-length glass sunroof.

Inside, it features a boosted 4.8-liter V8 engine, which delivers 620 bhp and can manage 290 km/h, with a 0-100km/h acceleration time of under 4.5 seconds using an eight-speed semi-automatic gearbox.

Buyers won’t be able to get their hands on the full model until summer 2012, with Eterniti saying that the Hemera is likely to be priced at around £150,000.

A showroom will open in London later this fall, said the firm, to showcase the Hemera and future planned models, which include a Hemera derivative, another SUV and a high performance race car.

Until then, the model will be on display at the Frankfurt Motor Show, which runs September 15-25 in Frankfurt, Germany.
