The Monstrous Devel Sixteen Hypercar

From the aggressive styling to the 12.3-liter quad-turbo V16 engine under the hood, this Devel Sixteen Hypercar is a monster on the roads.

When Dubai-based Devel Motors first announced their plans to make supposedly the world’s most absurdly powerful hypercar, there were skeptics whether the model will ever see the light of day. After a prototype of the Devel Sixteen was built, it was promptly put into Production. Now, the first one has landed in North America – courtesy of Toronto rapper Drake.

Beneath the aggressive styling of Devel Sixteen hypercar, a 12.3-liter quad-turbo V16 engine lies under its hood, producing up to 5,007 horsepower.

The engine is developed alongside with a U.S.- based builder, while Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus – the same company behind the new Apollo Intensa Emozioine hypercar – assisted with the design.

The Devel Sixteen will be available in three formats: 2,000 hp and 3,000 hp road versions, but the 5,000 hp will be available exclusively for track use. This stunning madness doesn’t come cheap, with a starting price north of $1.8 million.

View the video below for a glimpse of the Devel Sixteen, the 3,000-hp version, hitting the roads. The startup company from Dubai has stated on Instagram that the engine was on low boost as the driver was only using 20 percent of throttle.
