Designed and made by custom motorbike manufacturer Untitled Motorcycles, the UMC-063 Zero XP is an experimental, one-off creation that gives us a peek into “the future of motorcycle design”, and what breaking the rules of design can look, and operate like.
Yet, it is very much a fully realised idea, as the end result is a savage machine that looks and runs more like a tanker plane than a street wheeler. The UMC-063’s core is basically an aerospace-grade aluminium-encased powertrain that houses all of the bike’s batteries, charger, and motor.

It has a horsepower that has been described as being 40% stronger than a Ducati Panigale – its 82kW motor produces 140ftlb/190Nm of torque, capable of accelerating the UMC-063 to 124mph/200kph with a single twist of the wrist.
The exterior also matches the ferocity of the interior, with a sleek, militaristic hand-painted, custom-designed “Ghost Grey” shell, custom CNC’d 6061 aerospace aluminum seat shell, nose and bellypan, as well as polymer panels with frosted polycarbonate edges; all of which make the UMC-063 look like it came right off of a movie set, straight into the United Motorcycles garage.

Despite its “experiment” status, designer Hugo Eccles notes that the UMC-063 “isn’t about novelty for novelty’s sake, or some nostalgic idea of the future”. Rather, “The goal is to celebrate this unique riding experience through an entirely new function-led aesthetic. If the Zero XP looks futuristic, it’s because electric motorcycles like the SR/F are the future”, Eccles said in a statement.
