Chevrolet reveals Corvette Z06 convertible
Chevrolet has introduced the 2015 Corvette Z06 Convertible which boasts at least 625 horsepower, and 635 pound-feet of torque.
At the New York Auto Show, CHEVROLET will introduce a convertible version of its latest Corvette Z06 supercar. The model differs only slightly from the coupe and is powered by the same 634hp V8 engine.
Available with a 7-speed manual transmission or an 8-speed automatic gearbox, the supercar will have a power roof that can be operated at speeds of up to 50km/h.
Chevrolet unveiled the seventh-generation Corvette Z06 coupe at NAIAS in Detroit last January. Packing a 6.2-liter V8 engine with 634hp, the supercar is the most powerful Corvette of all time.
Like the standard Corvette Stingray model, the Z06 includes drive mode controls that adjust around a dozen parameters and driving aids.
The Corvette Z06 Coupe and Convertible are expected to roll into dealerships in early 2015.Ā The New York Auto Show takes place from April 18 to 27.
