Bugatti Chiron Sport in “Italian Red” takes centrestage

Bugatti’s latest version of Chiron Sports in “Italian Red” finish is currently on display at the 2018 Geneva International Motor Show. The car’s horseshoe features number “16” to honour the famous super car’s 16 cylinders, while under the hood, is managed by a 1,500 hp, W16 engine.

In this Geneva’s edition, Bugatti combined lightweight materials with a firmer chassis to boost the new Chiron’s car performance, to better manage sharper handling and agility.

The Geneva’s edition sees an increased use of carbon fiber with the materials extended to the windscreen wipers. About 18kg have been trimmed off the total weight of the car and it has been modified, incorporating a firmer chassis and suspension as well as new dynamic torque vectoring function.

The Chiron Sport is a new version of the Chiron, developed for customers who want an even sportier driving experience. With the enhanced lateral dynamics on winding roads, the Chiron is capable of sporting corners faster, recording a lap time on NardĆ² handling circuit five seconds better than its predecessor.

Bugatti’s Chiron Sports will go on sale at 2.65 million euros (excluding taxes) after making its world’s premiere at the Geneva Motor Show. The first deliveries are planned for end of the year.
