German tuning company Brabus took the wraps off its Mercedes-Benz Sprinter-based Business Lounge at the 2014 Moscow motor show.

Officially unveiled on Thursday, the Brabus Business Lounge is, as the name suggests, a luxury work and relaxation space on wheels.

Brabus’ Business Lounge gets an innovative communications concept which integrates the passengers’ notebook or tablet computers into the media center of the vehicle regardless of the technical platform.

The contents are displayed on the big 42-inch Full HD LCD screen integrated into the bulkhead behind the driver’s cab.

When it’s time to pack away the notebooks, there’s also an integrated PlayStation 4 and access to a host of movies and HD TV content.

In the main cabin there are two rows of business class-style seats trimmed in leather facing off against each other.

Each of these four seats can be electrically reclined, and features three memory settings, heating, cooling, massaging, adjustable lumbar support, and a small monochrome touchscreen (below) to control it all.

The seats have retractable tables, and in the center console between each pair of chairs are a refrigerator and coffee maker.

All up, the Business Lounge can seat up to eight people: four in the business-class seats, two more in more regular seating near the rear barn doors, and two in the sealed off driver’s cabin.

2700 colour LEDs have been integrated into the ceiling headliner and these can be configured to play one of 12 animations, including starry night, fluffy white clouds moving across a blue sky, fireworks or something psychedelic.

Brabus will build each Business Lounge model to the client’s exact specifications, including the types and tone of leather for each seat and whether six or four chairs are preferred in the passenger space.
