Veuve Clicquot have launched a new limited edition champagne collection in collaboration with Italian yacht maker Riva, called the La Grande Dame by Riva Collection.

Following Globalight’s success, this is the latest in a string of high profile collaborations between Veuve Clicquot and the likes of Andrew Putman, Christian Schwamkrug of Porsche Design Studio, Pablo Reinoso, Pucci, Karim Rashid and Jason Bruges

Riva is the luxury speedboat company behind the iconic boats of the 60’s and the golden age of the Dolce Vita lifestyle. Today they continue to make some of the most beautiful boats in the world.

The design collaboration with Riva is for Veuve Clicquot’s top champagne (prestige cuvee) called La Grande Dame, and includes 2 different accessories for Riva boats – a “made to order” piece and a limited edition one :

The “made to measure” Cruise Collection would cost $80,000 and includes 4 bottles of La Grande Dame 98, 2 magnums of La Grande Dame 88, 6 champagne flutes Riedel and 6 water tumblers, plates, table mats and cutlery.

It features the same gorgeous craftsmanship, richly-hued woods and elegantly curving lines for which Riva yachts are known.

Another one is a limited edition Cruiser Bag with counted 300 pieces available and includes a bottle of La Grande Dame 98 and two champagne flutes.

It is also inspired by the design of one of Riva’s yachts with black lacquer, mahogany inlay, chrome accents and leather trim.

Expected to be available from July, it is priced at $425 and would be available at Veuve Clicquot.

All the pieces are made of mahogany, chrome and leather – and made by some of the world’s best craftsmen.
