Bogart Real English Gin

Makers of the premium tequila brand Patron will be launching a gin dedicated to Humphrey Bogart, an American cinematic icon and gin connoisseur.

Bogart’s gin will be crafted in Cambridgeshire, England, using traditional distilling methods that use copper pot stills. Each bottle of Bogart’s Real English Gin will feature the actor’s face and a classic Bogie quote.

The spirit is made with juniper berries, five varieties of coriander, crushed macadamia nuts and citrus zests and is described as a complex, smooth, citrusy spirit. Bottles are set to hit US liquor store shelves in December.

Whiskey Jack Daniels Sinatra Select

Bogart’s not the only American leading man from the 1940s and 50s to have a spirit created in his honor, posthumously.

Whiskey-maker Jack Daniel’s created a special tribute bottle for actor and crooner Frank Sinatra, the Jack Daniel’s Sinatra Select.
