The most exclusive spirits in the world, including a French cognac from the Second World War, will be featured at the largest wine and spirits fair in Asia this week.
As one of only two bottles in the world, the Dupuy Vintage 1940 will be shown off at the Hong Kong Wine & Spirits Fair this week.
Described as an unblended cognac with a fresh, mineral smell and a light peppery note, the vintage cognac is said to melt on the palate and end with a woody finish.
For cognac connoisseurs, the bottle — packaged to mimic the old brokers’ flask — is also for sale and carries a handsome price tag of $111,000 HKD or €10,405.
